Even at a young age Ron knew his future would involve something in the art field. By the end of High School it was clear his skills would take him to a career in art and design. Leaving Northeast New Jersey for sunny Florida he attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, graduating with a degree in Advertising Design. After graduation Ron worked in corporate marketing, print shops and design studios for over a decade and spent the remainder of his time light-tackle fishing in North Biscayne Bay, Miami. In 2001 he became the Art Director for Florida Sportsman magazine for 9 years. Ron also illustrated for Vic Dunaway’s book, Bait, Rigs & Tackle and designed local editions for various Coastal Angler Magazine franchises in Florida and South Carolina and other marine-related clients.
